Contributing to the firm’s ongoing success since joining Gilson Daub in July of 2019, Derek Turbin will now serve as Managing Attorney of the firm’s Honolulu, Hawaii office. A graduate from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2012, Turbin has the experience of representing employers and insurance companies in workers’ compensation defense in both California and Hawaii. “I have enjoyed supporting Hawaii’s business owners and employers by providing passionate and zealous representation,” he says of his time since open the firm’s Hawaii office in 2019. Outside of work and during his free time, Derek enjoys participating in local Hawaii politics, serving on the Make-A-Wish Foundation board, and running.
