The new location is the company’s 19th office nationally and the second in the state of Kansas
WICHITA, Kan. – July 12, 2021 – Gilson Daub, a leading workers’ compensation defense, subrogation, and general liability law firm, today announced the opening of the Company’s 19th location and second Kansas office. Located in Wichita and managed by trial attorney Weston Mills, the office will primarily handle workers’ compensation defense and subrogation recovery.
The city of Wichita has benefited from several significant corporate facility expansion projects over the past two years. As the business climate in Wichita has accelerated, Gilson Daub’s national client roster has requested a second Kansas office to handle the increased growth demand in the region.
“The opening of Gilson Daub’s Wichita office is an important step towards expanding the services we offer in the state of Kansas,” said Brent Daub, Senior Founding Partner at Gilson Daub. “Kansas is currently one of the top business climates in the mid-west with Wichita becoming one of the fastest-growing centers for new work in the state. Gilson Daub has been handling claims throughout Kansas since 2018 and with the continued growth of the Wichita business climate, it made a lot of sense to have Weston help open this second office for our clients. This new Wichita office is an important next step to provide expanded representation to our clients in Kansas.”
Plans to develop operations were initiated when Mills decided to establish a second Kansas office in his hometown of Wichita. A University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Law graduate, Mills has been practicing law since 2015 and has had an impressive history of representing clients in both Missouri and Kansas for several years.
“I could not be more excited to bring Gilson Daub to my hometown of Wichita and provide an innovative and customer service-focused representation to employers in Sedgwick County,” Mills explained. “I always love the opportunity to get back home and with our newest location I will get to do it so much more!”
