San Clemente, Calif. – September 14, 2026 – Gilson Daub, a leading workers’ compensation defense, subrogation, and general liability law firm, today announced expansion into Idaho, marking the 15th state in which the firm practices. The office will be led by seasoned workers’ compensation attorney and partner, Scott McIntyre.
The expansion is the latest step in Gilson Daub’s strategic national growth. Over the past two years, the firm has expanded into six additional states, strengthening its ability to serve clients across jurisdictions and provide broader support throughout the country.
“As we continue our national expansion, several of our largest clients have specifically asked us to provide representation in Idaho, and we’re proud to be able to meet that need,” said Brent Daub, senior founding partner of Gilson Daub. “Our growth has always been intentional and driven by where we can best serve our clients. Expanding into Idaho is a natural next step, and with Scott’s experience and leadership, we have the right person to build our presence there and introduce the ‘Daub Difference’ throughout the state.”
Admitted to practice in California and Idaho, Scott brings more than 12 years of litigation experience representing employers, administrators, and insurance carriers, with particular experience in the retail, construction, and automotive industries. Additionally, Scott serves as Gilson Daub’s Partner of Technology and Innovation, where he is charged with enhancing client service and operational excellence nationwide. Throughout his career, he has also trained attorneys, carriers, and administrators on various aspects of case handling.
Scott earned his Juris Doctor from Chapman University School of Law, where he received a full merit scholarship and served as a staff editor of the Chapman Law Review. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Brigham Young University.
“I’m excited to help establish Gilson Daub’s presence in Idaho and bring the same level of service, responsiveness, and partnership that our clients have come to expect from us,” said McIntyre. “There is a tremendous opportunity to build something meaningful here, and I look forward to developing strong relationships across the state while giving our existing clients another market where they can turn to a team they already know and trust.”
