Spotlight: Gilson Daub 2026 Partner Summit
From April 22 – 24, 2026, Gilson Daub leadership gathered at Resorts World, Las Vegas for the firm’s annual Partner Summit. Marked by three solid days of focused collaboration, strategic alignment, and forward planning, 20 partners from across the firm’s national offices joined 5 management team members to strengthen leadership capabilities, enhance operations, and sharpen priorities for the year ahead.
Post-arrivals and dinner, bonding activities began at Area 15’s Great Big Game Show, where the team went head-to-head in a Family Feud style showdown that brought out energy and plenty of laughs.

Day two opened with a welcome breakfast and recognitions, celebrating CFO Marisa McBride for 10 years with the company, the firm’s newest partner Thang Hoang, along with other team achievements throughout the year. The morning program then featured a leadership development session with Dr. Robert Murray, who led a “Quadrant Flow” workshop on leadership styles, communication, and team dynamics. The session challenged attendees to assess their own approaches, better understand their colleagues, and strengthen how they collaborate to drive results.
The afternoon shifted toward the business of running a high-performing law firm with sessions centered on the evolving role of partners as business owners: from financial performance, reporting, profitability, to real-world case studies.
Day three’s programming took a more reflective turn, with a candid and introspective workshop centered on 2026 goals. Leaders revisited the commitments they set at the start of the year, evaluated progress, and identified areas for recalibration. The summit then concluded with a series of forward-looking sessions designed to enhance day-to-day effectiveness and embrace innovation:
- Leaders’ Efficiency Toolbox session: an exploration of practical strategies for problem-solving, time management, and delegation.
- Learning Management System (LMS) launch: a dive into the firm’s newly launched platform dedicated to professional training and personal development.
- Workplex AI overview: a discussion on emerging AI tools underscoring the firm’s commitment to responsibly leveraging technology to improve workflows.
Reflecting back on the entire weekend, Senior Founding Partner Brent Daub remarked, “The Gilson Daub Partner Summit is my favorite event of the year.
