GILSON DAUB EXPANDS TO UTAH WITH NEW SALT LAKE CITY OFFICE

The new location is the company’s 18th office nationally and the first to open in 2021

SALT LAKE CITY – March 1, 2021 – Gilson Daub, a leading workers’ compensation defense, subrogation, and general liability law firm, today announced the opening of the Company’s 18th location and first Utah office. Located in Salt Lake City and managed by trial attorney Spencer Orr, the office will primarily handle workers’ compensation defense, general liability, commercial automobile defense, and subrogation recovery.

Over the past several years, Gilson Daub’s national client roster has requested litigation defense in Utah, as their businesses continue to experience high growth in the state.

“The opening of Gilson Daub’s Utah office is an important step towards realizing our goal of providing exceptional workers’ compensation and general liability defense to our clients with operations in the western and mountain states,” said Brent Daub, Senior Founding Partner at Gilson Daub. “Utah is a strategic location for our firm. The Point of the Mountain has become a regional center for technology and Utah has consistently ranked at the top of multiple business categories such as economic growth, infrastructure, and business climate. This new Utah office is an important next step to provide expanded representation to our clients in the region and is the first new office for Gilson Daub in 2021.”

Plans to develop operations in Utah were initiated when Orr made the decision to return from Gilson Daub’s Arizona office to his hometown of Salt Lake City. A Brigham Young University graduate, Orr has been practicing law since 2017 and has had an impressive history of representing clients in both Utah and Arizona for several years.

“Utah is a highly entrepreneurial state and sustains one of the most diverse economies in America,” Orr explained. “For those reasons, and many more, I am thrilled to bring the highly-specialized Gilson Daub level of customer service to local businesses in this great state.”
