In Q3 2025, Gilson Daub attorneys and staff dedicated their time and energy to a variety of community-focused events across the country. Here’s a look at some of the meaningful ways they showed up to support!

Back-to-School Fun at Kidchella

In early August, Brent Daub joined the festivities at Kidchella: Orange County Foster Care System’s Back-to-School Bash Carnival. The event welcomed 800–900 kids who received backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, skateboards, food, drinks, and more. Highlights included a Ferris wheel, a petting zoo, a DJ, and even a mobile video game truck.

To sweeten the day, Gilson Daub sponsored the Kona Shaved Ice Truck, ensuring every child could cool down with a free treat.

Swinging for Scholarships in Arizona

On September 5, Brent Daub, Jeff Powell, and Kali Trombley hit the greens at the Kids Chance of Arizona Annual Golf 

Tournament at the Camelback Golf Club in Scottsdale.

Together with colleagues from across the workers’ compensation community, they helped raise funds for scholarships that support the children of workers who have been critically or fatally injured on the job – providing hope and opportunity for a brighter future.

A Night at the Races in Oklahoma

On September 18, and also in support of Kid Chance, the non-profit’s Oklahoma chapter held its second annual “A Night at the Races” fundraiser at Remington Park.The event was attended by Steve Hanna and Samantha Wolf of the firm’s Oklahoma City office and included live horse racing, food, drinks, and the opportunity to support a worthy cause in the community.

Cheers to Connection in San Francisco

Closing out the quarter on September 28, James Lee of Gilson Daub’s San Francisco office attended the Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly Annual Fundraiser, “Cheers to Connection.” A proud board member of the organization, James helped host an unforgettable 1920s-themed evening filled with jazz, flapper-era energy, and community spirit. Gilson Daub proudly served as an event sponsor, supporting the nonprofit’s mission to provide friendship and companionship to isolated and lonely elders.
