June 2025 proved to be an energetic and impactful month for Gilson Daub, as attorneys from across the country actively participated in key industry conferences and events. From thought-provoking speaking engagements to influential leadership summits, the team seized a variety of diverse opportunities to share insights, build connections, and represent the firm on a national stage. Here’s a look at some of the standout moments:

Orange County-based Regional Managing Partner Julio Martinez was a featured speaker at the California Coalition on Workers’ Compensation (CCWC) conference in Anaheim (June 11-13). Participating in the panel titled “Creating Your Success Circle: Pathways to Mentorship in Workers’ Comp,” Julio joined other industry leaders to explore how to find the right mentor and the essential components of an effective mentorship program in every sector of the industry. Julio specifically addressed how mentoring others has changed his own law practice and the ongoing importance of DEI in mentorship programs.
Additionally, firm Senior Founding Partner Brent Daub and Illinois-based partner and Managing Attorney Tim Steil attended the 2025 National Council of Self-Insurers Annual Conference in St. Pete Beach, Florida (June 1-4).
In mid-June, Fort Lauderdale Partner and Managing Attorney Beth Koller took part in the RISE 2025 Leadership Summit & Awards Gala (June 16-18, 2025).

And finally, a team from the Midwest, including Partners Weston Mills (Kansas and Missouri), Patrick Mack (Nebraska and Iowa), and Bret Taylor (Illinois) attended the Iowa Workers’ Compensation Annual Symposium (June 19 – 20, 2025).
Building on this momentum, and as the firm heads into summer, the team is eager to engage in more events, strengthen relationships with colleagues and clients, and continue leading the way in key industry conversations nationwide.
