GILSON DAUB SENIOR FOUNDING PARTNER, BRENT DAUB, SELECTED AS A FINALIST FOR OCBJ’S EXCELLENCE IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP AWARD

San Clemente, Calif. – April 25, 2022 – Brent Daub, senior founding partner of Gilson Daub, a leading workers’ compensation defense, subrogation, general, and longshore liability law firm, has been selected as a finalist for Orange County Business Journal’s (OCBJ) 2022 Excellence in Entrepreneurship (EIE) Award, which recognizes individuals who exemplify the American entrepreneurial spirit – through creativity and determination – in the establishment and nurturing of business ventures in Orange County, Calif. Daub is one of 95 nominees and winners will be announced at the 2022 EIE Awards on May 26, 2022, at the Irvine Marriott.

Daub is a dynamic and successful entrepreneur and legal professional who recognized that traditional law firms needed to be radically different to improve employee retention and create a better work-life balance. So, he set out to make the practice of law dramatically better by founding Gilson Daub in San Clemente, Calif. in 2011.

 

Under Daub’s visionary leadership, Gilson Daub has grown significantly to comprise a fast-growing team of 90 talented employees across 20 offices located throughout seven states. In fact, the firm has opened a new office every year since its founding including two in 2020 and three new offices in 2021 despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
