A High-Impact Q4: Gilson Daub Expands Its Presence at Key Industry Events
As we close out a successful 2025, Gilson Daub attorneys across the country capped off Q4 with a dynamic lineup of industry events.
This quarter’s events kicked off October 8-10, when Florida-based partner Beth Koller took the stage at the ClaimsXchange Annual Conference in Philadelphia. Beth, who serves with the organization as a Practice Area Leader for Workers’ Compensation, joined two fellow experts for a thought-provoking panel, “Managing the Message: Challenging Plaintiff Control of Public Perceptions of Insurance Claims.”
On November 6, Managing Partners Jeff Powell and Jesse Salazar represented Gilson Daub at the Arizona Self-Insurers Association Annual Conference & Golf Tournament in Phoenix. Beyond exhibiting at the event, the firm proudly sponsored a golf hole benefitting Kids’ Chance, an organization that provides scholarships to children whose parents have been seriously injured or killed on the job.
Meanwhile, across the Pacific on November 7, Founding Partner Brent Daub joined Managing Partners Derek Turbin and Weston Mills at the WIMAH 2025 Workers’ Compensation Educational Summit, held at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii in Honolulu. Derek shared his expertise as a featured speaker on the topic of, “Fraudulent Claims and Issues Pertaining to Non-Compensable Claims.”
This year’s conference season wrapped for Gilson Daub on November 11-12 at the National Workers’ Compensation Conference at Nashville’s Music City Center. Gilson Daub showed up strong with a five-person delegation that included Founding Partner Brent Daub, Managing Partners Tim Steil and Jeff Powell, Partner & Managing Attorney Lizzie Vicars and Executive Director Kali Trombley. The team also helped energize the networking scene as co-sponsor of a lively line-dancing event at Lainey Wilson’s Bell Bottom Bar. It was an exciting close to a productive conference season and a memorable moment of community building within the industry.
As we look ahead to 2026, the firm remains committed to engaging with colleagues, sharing expertise, and strengthening connection through conferences and events within the workers’ compensation community.
