Ms. Castro brings an aggressive approach to workers’ compensation. Having experience in various branches of law allows her to bring creativity in order to provide high quality legal defense. Ms. Castro has a strong biology background, which feeds her delight of scowering through medical reports and rating. Ms. Castro is fluent in English and Spanish and enjoys traveling. When she’s not working, you can find her training for her next marathon.
George J. Ashkar, Esq.

Mr. Ashkar attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Economics with an emphasis in Spanish. After working a union job for a major airline for almost one decade while attending UCLA, Mr. Ashkar attended Southwestern Law School where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. While in law school, Mr. Ashkar was a notes and comments editor for The Southwestern Journal of International Law, having his law journal article published at: 17 Sw. J. Int'l. Law 143 (2011). Furthermore, Mr. Ashkar served as extern for The Honorable Magistrate Judge Patrick J. Walsh, U.S. District Court, Central District of California, Western Division where he assisted Judge Walsh in drafting various habeas corpus decisions and social security disability decisions.
Mr. Ashkar has defended insurance carriers and third-party administrators before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board. He has also represented applicants before the WCAB.
Mr. Ashkar is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of California. He is also admitted to practice law before the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
In his free time, George enjoys spending time with his close family, traveling abroad prior to 2020, traveling locally since 2020, and “plane watching” at LAX from the top of the Imperial Hwy hillside in El Segundo.
