We are so saddened by the passing of our colleague, Christine Ruvalcaba.
Christine was an excellent attorney and an exceptional friend. She joined our firm in 2016 as an associate attorney in the Pasadena office. Her bright personality, work ethic, and unending desire to help her teammates quickly made her one of everyone’s favorite colleagues. Christine always brought life and light to the team and she never missed an opportunity to contribute to group messages, answer questions, or plan a world class party for her coworkers – she was the kind of person that made remote workers want to come into the office. During her years with the firm, she helped build the Gilson Daub culture. She ultimately succeeded as the managing attorney for the Pasadena office, where several others had tried and failed.
To say she will be missed is an enormous understatement. Christine left a gigantic imprint on Gilson Daub for which we are forever grateful.
Many of you have asked how you might be able to help her husband Mondo and their two boys. The family and friends have set up a GoFundMe drive if you feel led to contribute to their financial needs. I have provided the link below. The firm will be making a contribution to the family once we identify the best way we can make a large impact.
